Valentines Day Table

Happy Valentines Day List Dates & Schedule (7th February to 14th February) · Propose Day. The second day is celebrated as Propose Day, where people propose to their loved ones and ring in the eternity of their love. It can be a day of joy and celebration for couples, but it can also be a day when singles are reminded of how much they want to find someone to spend Valentine's Day with.

Valentine's Day is coming up! I don't know about you, but I'm in charge of our relationship and we'll be celebrating in all sorts of different ways this year. Sure, we'll take flowers home from work and put them on either side of the bed (or hug one another while we hold hands), but we're gonna do something special too... We're gonna use my LinkedIn profile to make our first date.

Yeah, that's right. I've been Googling for the best way to present my work and career on the internet and LinkedIn seems like a great resource for that kind of thing. It's a perfect match for my professional needs and I'm about to jump into it. I have no idea what's happening on the site (I'm not even sure I'll understand it), but at least this first date will be pretty comical. One thing at a time, though...

You're probably wondering what we'll both do when we get there... Well, I would recommend meeting up at a local coffee shop that's also got a bar. That way, you can order something made from fresh kernels of glucose and sucrose, but you won't have to worry about it being too embarrassing when your charming date gets tipsy. If you don't have time for the café experience, then my next suggestion would be to go for lunch and then do some shopping afterward...

Valentine's Day: Origins, Background & Traditions

What I want is to make sure that we show each other lots of love on our first date. This isn't a standard first date or anything like that; I'm just trying to make sure that we get to know each other before we move forward and make our commitment official. I know you'll feel the same way when you get there, so don't worry about it. That's why you're going to put on your favorite shirt, a pair of comfortable shoes and a stunning necklace...

Now, you need to look stunning for your date with me. This can be hard if you're single, but hey... It's Valentine's Day! We could settle for something casual instead of going all out on the first date (that would be kind of mean), but there's no reason we can't do this special event properly... Maybe we'll start with casual clothing... Oh but that would be way too boring! Let's dress up to impress! Keep in mind the season when choosing your attire, and remember the weather forecast. If it’s going to be too hot or cold outside for what you’re wearing, consider changing into something else. And remember to pack an umbrella! Pack light, as you need to keep your hands free for holding hands and other lovely activities.

Single lady needs to have a posh purse for handbags — try not to look like you’re headed for the gym in one of these babies. And yes, they are allowed in the cinema and on TV, but when you go out on a date, you don’t want to be carrying a huge camera bag around. It would also be a good idea for that gentleman of style to bring his handbag — he might as well carry yours too.

Don’t forget to pack some light-weight gloves — you won't want to wait for your date hold hands at the end of the evening by fumbling with your phone. You might not need to bring a hat with you, but it is a good idea if you’re going out in the day — the sun can be brutal. Bring plenty of cash with you and leave your credit card or ATM card at home. I don’t want to have to worry about my date having enough money for whatever we get up to on Valentine’s Day, whether that be buying flowers or just going for a hand-in-hand walk up the beach.

Valentine's Day: Origins, Background & Traditions

It's best if you leave out any photos of your exes from your bedroom on this night, as it's hard to tell them apart from them from my friends, who are most definitely still my friends. Also, you don't have to worry about keeping a photo album that is always kept on your bedside table, and as long as we both stay up late enough to watch the sunrise then I'll be happy.

I wouldn’t want you to forget the essentials for this special day — my favorite flowers, a bottle of champagne (always two), and some music. A dozen red roses would be wonderful, but a single rose would suffice if this is your first date (and hopefully it will be your last)! This will also help me relax when I think about how I'm going to look when we go out on our first date. I don't want to let my shyness get the best of me and blow this chance, especially if it's my lucky year. So, I'll need a little help from you with some pre-meeting pampering. I've never been on a real date before, and it would be a shame for all our hard work to go down the drain.

I'm sure you already know how important this is (especially on Valentine's Day). When I meet you at the party, I want to feel as good about myself as possible. The more I'm comfortable with how I look on our first date, the less pressure there will be for me to act like a fool. Think of it like this: If you went out on a date and started having a good time, wouldn't you lose your focus on how awkward you felt? You might even start to forget that self-conscious feeling of being nervous and uncomfortable with your date. That's my plan! So, let's start with a manicure and pedicure.

I'm hoping for the best this Valentine's Day, but I've been dealing with way too much pressure to have much hope left. This is why I'm asking you to help me feel relaxed when we go out on our first date. I don't want to be all nervous and afraid that you're going to break up with me on the spot because of my mistakes. That would feel like I was being rejected, and I don't want to ever have my heart broken again. This is why I need you to take care of me and make sure that everything is perfect on our first date. Think of it as a gift that you're giving me.

So, let's start by having our nails done at the hotel where we'll be staying the night. We could have a beautiful little lunch in a romantic restaurant, or we could go dancing at the local club where we can have some fun and unwind. If we're feeling a bit more adventurous, we could go on a scenic drive and visit some of the local attractions. The next day we can either enjoy our honeymoon at home or take a trip to explore more of the countryside.

Valentine's Day: Origins, Background & Traditions

 Philip's story:

"Our honeymoon is about to be over!" "I've had it!" "I'm leaving!" I slammed the phone down on the wall. It lay there, crashing down on my hand, banging some sense into me! I stood up and looked at myself in the mirror... I wasn't quite as pretty as I wished I was. My eyes were wide with shock and rage. I looked at myself and I didn't recognize my appearance. My cheeks were rounder than usual, my skin blushed a luscious color of red with anger, and my lips were bright pink as I brought them together in an angry snarl.

"I'm going to kill him!" "Owww!" "What is it?" I turned around to see Melanie standing in the doorway and staring at me with shock on her face. "How can anyone be so cruel? He loves you! Why would he leave you without a word after all your planning?" A tear shook loose from one of my eyes and cascaded down my cheek. "He's not that cruel, Mel! He just doesn't want me to be miserable... He's not that cruel." "But he is, Philip! He's leaving you to die and you don't know why!" I wiped my tears away with the back of my hand. "I need some time alone, Mel. I'm going back to the bedroom where I can be alone until he decides to call me." I nodded at Melanie and stepped around her, heading towards the bedroom. "I'm sorry," was all she said before she closed the door behind her. She knew that tears were now flowing down my cheeks in full force. After a few minutes of crying myself into exhaustion, it occurred to me... I was no longer in the bedroom of the Hotel where I was staying.

I'm standing outside a bedroom door and I can hear a noise coming from inside. It seems like there's someone inside, but I can't see who or what it is. I take a deep breath and knock on the door. "Philip?" my voice is barely audible through the thick wood of the door. The sound inside stops and there is silence for a few moments, then after another long moment... "Philip?"

"Phillip! What are you doing here? You didn't come back to my house!" "No Mel... I come...
